Does he honestly think I will simply chalk it up to coincidence?
I've half a mind to take offense. Only a novice plucks weeds without tending to their roots.
Honestly, the most difficult element of this business lies in how exactly to present it to His Majesty. He'd best not throw his lot in on his behalf, or I'm afraid I may be quite vexed.
As for Julian ... best to keep it from him entirely, as of yet, I suppose.
